Bydgoszcz to polskie miasto, które powstało w roku 1038 . Znajduje się w województwie kujawsko-pomorskim i jest jego stolicą. Znajduje się ono 30 km od naszej rodzinnej miejscowości. Dużo mieszkańców Pruszcza dojeżdża codziennie do tego miasta- pociągiem, bądź samochodem. Są to głównie uczniowie szkół średnich oraz dorośli. Bydgoszcz to jedno z największych miast w Polsce: zajmuje 8. miejsce w kraju pod względem liczby ludności (357,6 tys mieszkańców) i 10. pod względem powierzchni (176 km2). Patronami miasta są biskupi św. Marcin oraz św. Mikołaj. Miasto to obchodzi swoje święto 19 kwietnia, na pamiątkę nadania mu praw miejskich w 1346 roku. W Bydgoszczy znajduje się kilka uczelni: Uniwersytet Kazimierza Wielkiego, Uniwersytet Technologiczno-Przyrodniczy, Kujawsko-Pomorska Szkoła Wyższa, Wyższa Szkoła Gospodarki. Bydgoszcz kulturowo rozwija się bardzo szybko i są tutaj organizowane liczne imprezy, np. Ogólnopolski Konkurs Tańca, Rajdowe Mistrzostwa Polski, Bydgoski Festiwal Operowy, Bydgoski Festiwal Nauki, Międzynarodowy Festiwal Sztuki Autorów Zdjęć Filmowych "Plus Camerimage". W mieście jest jedno bardzo popularne miejsce: Wyspa Młyńska. Jest to zabytkowa wyspa rzeczna o pięknym krajobrazie, z tzw. Wenecją Bydgoską. Znajdują się tu obiekty kulturowe, jest także miejsce na wypoczynek. Z wyspą łączy się Most Miłości. Wyspa Młyńska ciągle staje się coraz bardziej sławna. Najważniejsze miejsca to w Bydgoszczy: Opera Nova, pomnik Łuczniczki, Stary Rynek, stadion Zawiszy Bydgoszcz. Przez miasto przepływa rzeka Brda. Bydgoszcz is a Polish city which was created in 1038. It's situated in the kujawsko-pomorskie province and it's a capital of that province. It's 30 kilometres from our home town Pruszcz. Lots of Pruszcz inhabitants commute to the city every day by train or car. These are secondary school students,university students and adults who work there. Bydgoszcz is one of the biggest cities in Poland: it's the 8th largest city in the country in terms of population (357,6 thousand of people) and the 10th one in terms of area (176km2). The patrons of the city are Saint Martin and Saint Nicholas. Bydgoszcz celebrates its own holiday on 19th April in memory of giving this place the city rights in 1346. In Bydgoszcz there are a few universities: Kazimierz Wielki University, University of Technology and Life Sciences, Kujawsko-Pomorska's College, Economy College, Collegium Medicum University. Bydgoszcz is an important place for contemporary European culture, it is developing culturally very fast and lots of cultural events are organised here, for example National Dance Competition, Polish Rally Championship, Bydgoszcz Opera Festival , Bydgoszcz Science Fair, International Film Festival of the Art of Cinematography "Plus Camerimage". There's one very popular place in the city: Mill Island.It is among the most spectacular and atmospheric places in Bydgoszcz. What makes it unique is the location in the very heart of the city centre, just a few steps from the old Market Square .The water, footbridges, historic red-brick tenement houses reflected in the Brda river, and the greenery, including old chestnut trees, create the unique atmosphere of this place and make people spend there their free time. Mill Island is popular among children, teenagers, adults and elderly people. . Bridge of Love connects the island with the Opera Nova house.. The Mill Island is getting more and more beautiful and famous each year. The most important places in Bydgoszcz are : the Nova Opera, Filharmonia Pomorska Concert Hall, the Pomeranian Philharmonic, a statue of the Archer, the Old Market Square, Zawisza Bydgoszcz stadium.The Brda River flows through the city of Bydgoszcz. |
